what about the stones & leather?
We are extremely picky about stone quality, leather quality and finished product quality. We hand pick each and every stone to make sure you are getting the finest. Natural turquoise that is high quality is hard to find and good quality turquoise and gemstones are expensive. But you know what? We love quality and we don't want second best and we don't think my customers do either
How long does it take to get my order?
There is an approximate 8 week lead time on all orders and orders are filled in the order they are received. IN STOCK items ship immediately.
Is your tack guaranteed?
Yes! Our custom items have a lifetime guarantee for normal use. Our custom work: Anything we have applied such as wirework, gems, turquoise, stones, etc. has a lifetime guarantee all these items are replaced free. What is not guaranteed? Conchos, buckles or anything screwed on or any leather breakage or strap failures. We use top quality leather and we will repair any leather damage for a minimal fee. We can't freely replace conchos or buckles due to screws backing out and conchos & buckles being lost, please inspect your tack before and after riding to make sure all screws are secure. We can replace those items for a minimal cost. Please take care of your tack, we will not guarantee items that have been abused. It is the customer’s responsibility to use appropriate measures to maintain and protect your purchase. Inspired Turquoise will not warranty costs for product issues due to abuse or neglect.
Do you offer refunds?
Because these are custom, per order items there are no returns. Here is how it works: We meticulously tend to your order requests through emails or phone conversations and confirm details with you. When the item is finished and ready to ship we then email you preview pictures of the finished product before shipping out. If your order is a totally custom order, i.e. not found on this website, we will always take 'mock up' photos of designs and you choose the one you like best before we wire things down. If there are issues or questions that is the time to speak up so we can fix it. Make sure you ask questions or make changes before it ships. If you have problems (we don't have problems, but just let's say we do...) please email us as soon as you can and we will make it right. We will repair or correct anything that needs to be repaired or corrected, easy right?
Do you size to fit?
Yes we do! We are happy to take your custom measurements. If you are unsure of how to measure for proper fit we do have a diagram we can email you to show you how. Making sure we have proper size helps to make a perfect fit for your horse. We don't charge for custom sizes but draft and mule sizes will cost more as these sizes are more expensive. Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do: Canadian shipping is a flat rate of $25.00 & to Europe shipping is $30.00.
How much is shipping to the U.S.?
For orders more than $50.00 the rate is $10.95 no matter how much you order. Small orders under $50 is $4.95
How are stones secured?
We use NO glue to adhere the stones, we cringe at the mention of glue, glue is our enemy. We use a high grade epoxy to apply stones & crystals to buckles and conchos (this is normal) but we do not use glue to adhere the custom work to leather, glue does not bond with leather. We long ago found the perfect, strongest, most resilient wire on the market. It does not break. We have perfected the technique for applying stones with this wire so the stones are tight, secure and do not wobble. Trade secret folks!
What if I want a matching item at a later date?
Our advice: Order the whole set at once, that way stones will match. If we make the tack up all at once the stones will match, if you want the matching item at a later date on we cannot guarantee stones will match.
